Which one of these Dadoes sets is best?

I am getting a Dado set for my dad for Christmas. He has a table saw with a 10″ blade capability.

    It depends on what you want. If ease of set up is foremost and you can live with having a less than flat bottom in the dado then the dial unit is great. It adjusts by warping the blades so the bottom of the cut doesn’t have cutters all the way across and is therefore not flat. Easy to set but not precise. If you want true precision and a clean cut of the bottom width then go with the pro set. It takes a bit more time to set it up but the cut is clean on the bottom as the cutters are side by side. I wouldn’t even consider the safety set as it is less than ideal on several types of wood, by their own specs.

    i would go with the pro dado set in my shop…at least you are considering a good affordable brand…
