Where can I go to sharpen my blades?

In 10 Inch Table Saw Blades Tagged , 5 Comments

I’m talking about my 10 inch table saw blade. I live in Phoenix AZ, but does anyone know of any national chains like home depot or Lowes that sharpen them? No one seems to know, but someone has to be able to do it.

    EDIT( As for the other guy who states” Real builders dont buy much from Lowes or Home Depot” Reality check my friend, those big chains have driven most of the local yards into the red and out of business, the only builders who use a local yard are those who work where Lowes and home Depot dont have stores yet! 90% of our materials come from Lowes! the other 10% comes from Hope Depot and smaller hardware stores. It just depends on how much we need and how close one is!)

    Tyler, there just arent many people who will sharpen blades anymore due to the fact that many blades actually need the carbide teeth replaced as they are past being able to be sharpened. replacing teeth requires a special welder that holds and welds them on at the same time.

    I cannot say for sure in your area. I live about an hour away from Kansas City, and there is only one company that will do the work within one hundred miles of Kansas City. They are located in Kansas City Missouri.

    I found these guys in and near Phoenix, give them a call;

    Go to the local lumber yard that the builders use and ask them, they can tell you. real builders don’t buy much from hd or lowes.

    Go to your local mom and pop type of hardware store, they will usually sharpen blades for pretty cheap.
