IF …the price gets too steep for this part, you may consider replacing the entire saw since that model runs around $60.

You should be able to get the blade guard from Sears Parts and Service. Sears is the parent company of Craftsman Tools. Sears operates a number of Sears Parts and Service shops around the US. I have one less than a mile from my house. They sell both new and reconditioned parts, and they are a separate division from the Sears retail department stores. You can also buy online, the link is below. But the site is down for sched maintenance until 6am Sunday.
